- To take strict disciplinary action against those found guilty of ragging.
- To promote friendship and mutual respect among students through counseling and orientation programs.
Functions of the Anti-Ragging Cell
- Monitoring student behavior and maintaining vigilance to prevent incidents of ragging.
- Organizing awareness drives, posters, and seminars on anti-ragging policies.
- Displaying helpline numbers and guidelines at prominent places in the college.
- Receiving and addressing complaints of ragging swiftly and confidentially.
- Coordinating with local authorities and the college administration when required.
- Encouraging senior students to act as mentors and role models for juniors.

Procedure for Reporting Ragging
- Students can report any ragging-related incident verbally, in writing, or via email to any member of the Anti-Ragging Cell.
- Complaints can also be dropped in the designated Anti-Ragging Complaint Box on campus.
- The cell will immediately investigate the complaint with complete confidentiality.
- Strict disciplinary action will be taken against those found involved in ragging, as per college and UGC norms.
Awareness and Prevention Initiatives
The Anti-Ragging Cell conducts regular programs to educate students on:
